When lifting with a bar …

When weight lifting and using a bar, never take more than 2 plates off each side at a time. Otherwise, you run the risk of one side being too heavy causing the bar to tip over and potentially hit someone with a swinging 45 lb steel bar.

Saw a video of that happening. Some guy was bending over to pick up a weight and the bar hit the back of his head or shoulder. It looked pretty bad.
